Hyderabad, December 10, 2023: On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, a group of human rights activists and educators gathered at the School of Rock Music School to launch the brochure and NAVAYAN.org website of Project NAVAYAN – Human Rights Initiative NGO.

Project NAVAYAN’s mission:

Project NAVAYAN NGO, which started with the slogan “Equal human rights for all,” is dedicated to fighting for a just society, spreading knowledge with the inspiration of the teachings of Gautama Buddha, B.R. Ambedkar, Phule, and Periyar.

As a first step towards this, Project NAVAYAN – Human Rights Initiative Founder President Vijay Vangalapudi thanked Kaikaluru MLA Sri Dulam Nageshwara Rao for allocating land for the project and cooperating with the request of the John Peta Youth Association and organized a discussion program on the first Ambedkar Knowledge Center and Prabuddha Cultural Center being built in John Peta Dalit village.

Rayadas manthena Inagurating Project NAVAYAN Broucher

On this occasion, USA Wall Street Bank Manager, Study Abroad Group Founder Rayadas Manthena  unveiled the brochure for the Ambedkar Knowledge Center and Prabuddha Cultural Center construction project and said that they would work to fund the project construction and develop educational programs after the construction through the global NRI network.

Renowned science communicators, All India Peoples Science Network Vice President, Vignana Darshini Founder Ramesh, Dalit Women’s Collective NGO Director, Satavahana University Sociology Department Head, Professor Sujatha Surepalli jointly launched the NAVAYAN.org website and launched the Change Makers Network that brings together rights activists and organizations from all over the world.

On this occasion, the need for Ambedkar Knowledge Center and Prabuddha Cultural Center, which will be the center of community building, was discussed, and the necessary plans for the inauguration of the construction project on October 14, 2024, the day D.R. B.R Ambedkar converted to Buddhism with his followers, were discussed.

The event was attended by the main guest, Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar awardee, renowned writer Mercy Margaret, along with RK’s Brainstorm CEO Rajiv Kachara, Amma Eye & Organ Donation Chief Secretary Kishor Bivike, rationalist Vijay Kandukuri, social activist Ravi Boin, renowned journalist John Kora, human rights activist Kamal Saida, Osmania student leader David Oyu, writer Naresh Kumar Sufi, music director John Kandula, writer Gundla Venkat Narayana, rationalist Ajay Talaari, T10 Channel CEO Sri Sundar, Santi Vinay Kumar, Srikanth Varkala, and friends.

The launch of Project NAVAYAN – Human Rights Initiative NGO is a significant step towards promoting human rights and social justice in India. The organization’s commitment to spreading knowledge and building a just society is inspiring. The project to build the Ambedkar Knowledge Center and Prabuddha Cultural Center in John Peta Dalit village is a concrete example of the organization’s work.
