About: On August 12, 1936, the All India Students' Federation (AISF) was established in Lucknow, India, with the support and collaboration of the Indian independence movement. 936 delegates from across the country attended the founding conference, which was held at the Ganga Prasad Memorial Hall. Jawaharlal Nehru inaugurated the event, while M.A. Jinnah presided over it. The delegates decided to establish the AISF, and Prem Narayan Bhargava was chosen as its first general secretary.
