For the past 17 years, the John Peta Fisheries co Operative society has been fighting to reclaim its farming land who have illegally possessed by the Forest Department. The John Peta Youth Association has been at the forefront of this struggle, working tirelessly to ensure that justice is served. Recently, the Krishna district collector ordered a land re-survey, and the department is in the process of resolving the issue. However, the change of districts after Ugadi has complicated matters.
To help resolve the issue, the John Peta villagers requested Kaikaluru MLA Mr. Dulam Nageswara Rao’s support. The MLA was asked to explain the situation to the Eluru District Collector and RDO and ensure that justice is served at the earliest to get back the land of the John Peta Society.
John Peta youth Association Founder/Secretary Vijay Kumar Vangalapudi and several village heads, including Raphael, Stalin, Yohanu, Yobu, Chaudhary, Priscilla, Jayapal, Manikyala Rao, Esupadam, Krishna, Samsonu, Kishore, Ramu, Babji, and other villagers participated in the program. It is a testament to the determination of the John Peta Youth Association to fight for justice and reclaim what rightfully belongs to the community.
